While it's perfectly possible to build the Simchair from parts and hardware components available at your place, or aliexpress, or eBay, or wherever, if you like what I do and want to support the effort - I ask you to consider buying something from me (or making a donation).
It all started a few years ago as a fun hobby project - basically undocumented and designed in a haste - and it would have stayed this way if one guy wouldn't have asked me to make a set for him one day.
I took the challenge, and worked on it to the point where I wouldn't feel ashamed for being paid for it - and he liked the result. So I started the site, and with time, the project evolved into something much bigger than I ever anticipated it could be. Since then a quite a few guys helped it to stay afloat, and I have been doing my best to design better hardware and software for it.

As much as I like to keep all of my models free and open-source, I decided to distribute some of the new ones (strictly cosmetic stuff, optional ones) for a humble fee to help me to fund further development.
So far, I have been getting money to buy plastic, parts, and components needed to develop new hardware mostly by building the hardware, but it takes a lot of time and effort, and I have to divert those from designing to building, that means, the development is going slower than it could have been.
With your support, I will be able to rely on designing things more, it will mean more fun for me, and thus more cool peripherals for you!
Shipping and PayPal transaction fees are not included.
I appreciate your support greatly and will do my best to answer your questions that occur during the building process and help you with what I can!
It's also possible to order pre-assembled hardware. Please contact me for details.
