  1. Hi, I am fascinated with this project. So I have started building a UH-1 Huey collective. I am a noob, most definately. I have followed your detailed manual, but I am having trouble connecting some wires which result in an arduino not recognised by my pc.
Could you post a connection sheme/drawing of each wire in the head so i can check where I would have made a mistake?
Thank you for such a fantastic project.

Arduino should be recognized when you plug it in, but in the head, the one without USB is used, which communicates with the master controller through an I2C connection. Do you mean the master controller is not recognized? Or do you mean the USB-UART driver is not recognized?

      1. Hi, thank you for your kind reply. For the moment I have only constructed the huey head. So when I connect the completed head to my pc, the lights on the arduino light up but there is no connection. When I try to upload the software it does not recognise the arduino board. I have read that not all pins may be connected, if I remember correctly RXI , for the arduino to be recognized? I am a fossile when it comes to new communication methods, so I will try discord out. Thank you very much.

  2. Hi hc625ma, I have done the huey head twice already. One for my son and, of course, one for me 🙂 When I look at the manual in its version I actually miss the instructions how to install the pot board onto the bracket and how to install the bracket into the main housing. Is it possible to add two additional instructions with one or two pictures to elaborate ? One will find out how to install through trial and error but it would be of great help 🙂

I saw that you mentioned discord in the message trail but I think the link was an invite. Would love to join.
